Former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace abruptly departed Fox News in December. Wallace finally broke his silence as to why he left Fox News to work at CNN’s new streaming service.
In an interview with the New York Times – his first since leaving Fox News – Wallace claimed that the top cable TV news network was headed in a direction that is “unsustainable.”
“I just no longer felt comfortable with the programming at Fox,” said Wallace, who had been at the network for 18 years. “But when people start to question the truth — Who won the 2020 election? Was Jan. 6 an insurrection? — I found that unsustainable.”
“Before, I found it was an environment in which I could do my job and feel good about my involvement at Fox,” Wallace said. “And since November of 2020, that just became unsustainable, increasingly unsustainable as time went on.”
Good riddance! Chris Wallace should have gone to CNN a long time ago. It is very obvious he dislikes Donald Trump and it showed when he interviewed Trump when he was POTUS. At least now I don’t have a chance of seeing hime on tv since I never watch CNN.
Frying pan got too hot for his WOKE ass !!!!! By BY
His performance as presidential debate moderator told the story.
I wonder when he will graduate to msnbc ?
I don’t care why he let FOX news………………………I’m just so glad he did!!!
He won’t be missed really biased and boring. It would be best if he retired from all media he is a snob and never fair in his coverage always has been about himself.
When Chrissie Wallace announced that he was leaving Fox, I was delighted that he had finally come out of the closet. He had obviously been a stooge helping Fake News for a long, long time. For a while he had been trying to pretend that he was fair and unbiased, but that was about as believable as the Adams apple on Aquama’am.
Chrissie’s Dad, Mike Wallace was liked and respected by all sides of the political spectrum in America. Little Chrissie will never have to worry about that!
But it is a twist on an old saying – rats leaving a sinking ship turns into a rat leaving for a sinking ship! How appropriate and deserved! Bye, bye little Chrissie!
