The trio of top House Democrats – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn – are all running for re-election.
The 81-year-old Clyburn announced Monday he would run for a 15th term, while the 81-year-old Pelosi and 82-year-old Hoyer had previously announced 2022 runs.
Together the octogenarians have a combined age of 244 – and none have committed to stepping down from leadership posts, despite the rising prospect Republicans could put them back in the minority.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, at age 81, announced earlier this year she would be running for re-election. In 2018, however, she promised to only spend four more years as speaker
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, who’s 82, and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, 81, also announced they would be running again, with Clyburn making the announcement Monday.

Perfect example of the need of TERM LIMITS of 2 TERMS with NO RETIREMENT and NO BENEFITS. Politians are supposed to be servants of the people NOT DICTATORS over the people.
They all want to die in office for the party perks, including state funerals.
They just may get their wish if they keep Ruining America !!!!
