I believe that Mitt Romney (and the forces behind him) have been covertly positioning him for months to be Joe Biden’s heir as president. First, #NeverTrumper chicken hawk Romney will soon announce he will leave GOP ranks and become a Democrat. Secondly, because of her gross ineptitude, unprecedented unpopularity with the American electorate, the incompetent Kamala Harris after corruption and unsavory conduct is unearthed, will be ditched from her position as vice president as was Spiro Agnew during Nixon’s regime. She be replaced by the newly heroic transpartisan Mitt Romney in a not so subtle effort of the Uni-Party. After the 2022 midterms, Impeachment proceedings against Biden will commence and he will be forced to resign, leaving the unctuous chameleon Romney as president. The hubristic and unapologetic RINOs and neocons will once again be triumphant in this despicable coup d’état.

What if when he announces his transition from Republican to Democrat, Mitt Romney strongly denounces in no uncertain terms the January 6th insurrectionists as domestic terrorists and the seditious Trump as the instigator/focal point of this treason which has destroyed the GOP as a viable progressive basis for promoting peace, prosperity and national unity among all Americans?

First of all we never should have had Biden. The election was rigged. That said, in order to maintain order and discipline as much as possible in our government we have to wait until the next election to change things. Hence the urgency in states legislating voter integrity laws.
But given the choice I would rather see Romney than either Biden, Kamala, Piglosi, or any of the others in line. Trump will hopefully be back in 2024 and with the projected red wave in 2022 we should be able to neutralize the damage already done to our nation.
But for Romney, Hogan, and the other never Trumpers…their days are numbered. The GOP is changing and Trumps the guy we all love. Anyone who asks why should simply be told he loves us and this country.
