BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The National Geographic has listed Maryland’s Eastern Shore as one of its “25 Amazing Journeys for 2022.”
Being recognized as the only Mid-Atlantic destinations as a must visit for the next year.
Tom Riford Assistant Secretary of Tourism for the Maryland Department of Commerce shares why this recognition is important and some of the attractions, and activities to participate in on the Eastern Shore.
Yes, it’s a great tourist destination – but too expensive to live here!
The politics, taxes, and policies are quite oppressive!
Only good for those who have $$$ & come to Retire !!! Only a Medical field, Chicken,Farming Area
&, Prison , full of POVERTY for the rest !!!!
The only attraction that we have here in Salisbury of world note is the Ward Museum. Let the people tour the museum on the way to Ocean City and let them stay there.
Perdues chix plant (snicker snicker)
Now if we could get leadership with vision, not only east of the bay bridge but also in Annapolis…….
…but i digress
They went woke and the only thing referenced was the Harriet Tubman museum.
Sick of hearing the Tubman Black Racists chant !!!! Only a Democrat Fake News Ploy !!!
The area is Nice but NOT for JOBS !!!
Low Pay Hard Labor No Good jobs here !!! FACT Ready to LEAVE !!!
They have to be desperate to come to Salisbury. Maybe some parts of the Eastern Shore this does fit Ocean City Md. and Delaware Beaches for sure, eastern shore food yes I agree. Why are we still putting in more bike lanes when their is no one riding them ever except maybe around the college or Riverside Drive area? Fake Jake has got to stop with the bike paths no matter how hard he wishes it we are not the Inner Harbor or Annapolis.
Better than the cities !!!!
Regardless of the season and with many my age retiring and moving, I still believe that Delmarva is the best place to live! Milt Warren
Salisbury is a must see travel destination? Salisbury is an eyesore at best, with rampant crime, looney liberals around every corner, cross dressing weirdos hosting story time in the library, a shockingly ineffective school system, a high homelessness problem, and a slum lord’s paradise.
I live in the college neighborhood and travel on college Avenue and Riverside Drive several times every day. Very seldom, Maybe once a month will I see a bicycle.
