From what I have seen so far, it looks like the kid went out to be a hero, and got in way over his head. He claimed good intentions, and I believe that to some extent he felt he was helping, but reality has a funny way of creating up on you when you least expect it. Suffice it to say that he does have the right to defend himself, and I don’t see this resulting in a murder conviction. Unfortunately, regardless of the outcome, he will have some difficult times ahead. Imagine that wacko mob showing up on the day of trial to find out the kid was found not guilty…not gonna be pretty.
The prosecution witnesses are the defense’s best tool, without even trying. “Grambo” and the photographic memory photographer were standouts.
