Maryland Governor Larry Hogan visited Salisbury Wednesday morning as part of his Eastern Shore tour to talk to local business owners in the downtown area.
Hogan made a special appearance a day before Maryland’s COVID-19 ‘State of Emergency’ was officially lifted.
Hogan said he looked forward to the great economic progress as the city makes its way out of the pandemic.
“The economy is coming back and booming in a big way but we’re out here you know, (to) talk to them about their concerns and issues they need help on and let them know that we’re still going to stand behind our, our towns and cities, and our small businesses,” he said.
Hogan’s first stop was at ‘Together cafe.’ Owner Vicente Hernandez said he got a heads up from a co-worker Tuesday night that the governor would be in town. He said just two weeks ago they opened a second coffee shop at the Salisbury Airport and was excited to share that with Hogan.
“He’s been focused on making sure businesses were OK and just wanted to check-in make sure that we were good and offer support if we needed it,” Hernandez said.

Was it really Hogan, the pictures I have been seeing lately do not look like Hogan. We can only hope and pray that he joins the rest of his corrupt friends in that special place.
