Are Joe Biden and the Democrats in trouble heading into the next election? While it’s early, new data seems to suggest they are losing ground in ways that could lead to a red wave.

In addition to the Harvard/Harris poll reported on by Jeff Charles earlier today, there’s this from Axios.
Zoom out: The Democratic messaging group Future Majority in May released a deck identifying areas where Republicans hold an advantage:
- Of the issues polled, “defunding the police,” “open borders” and “reparations for slavery” were by far the biggest turnoffs for both independents and voters in general.
- Republicans bested Democrats on jobs and the economy, gun rights, and “keeping you and your family safe.”
- The poll, Future Majority wrote in its report on the findings, “shows voters, especially Independents, believe Democrats overspend.”
Yeah, I’m thinking Future Majority may want to look into a name change. Their polling from swing districts is bad news all the way around. As an aside, now we know exactly why Jen Psaki was gaslighting everyone today by claiming it’s Republicans who want to defund the police.
For many of us, the realization that the Democrat Party was becoming a fool’s errand, destined to fail in absurd, self-defeating policies, self-destructive foreign relations and a seemingly endless supply of shady characters, was our ticket to leave the floundering wreck. Four years of Trump, even in the onslaught of unrelenting attack by the worst of Democrats, showed us again what we could become, what we could achieve.
I left the party during Obama’s second term, when the nine heads of the Hillary hydra was drooling over billions in personal riches and unlimited personal power, all while fooling half of the electorate.
Every day without her in the White House is a blessing.
It doesn’t really matter how the American voters feels. I think we learned that the last election. Until we can stop them from rigging election we are all sunk.
