Anne Arundel County police arrested a childcare associate at the Y in Arnold this week after video footage allegedly showed him sexually touching a child at the Y.
Police said they first got a referral regarding a sex offense at the Y on March 15.
Vincent Santiago Dominick, 23, of Cypress Road in Severna Park, was allegedly seen on video with a child in his lap, while he was in a room supervising multiple children. Dominick allegedly made “unwanted sexual contact” with the child, said police.
The child’s father saw his child sitting in Dominick’s lap, removed his child from Dominick’s care and reported the incident to Y staff.
The Y immediately removed Dominick from having any further contact with children and an investigation was launched, according to the police press release.
Dominick was charged with fourth-degree sex offense and was arrested June 22.
