PICTURED: Man, 30, who shot dead a Georgia store cashier who told him to pull his mask up

A cashier was shot dead and an off-duty deputy was wounded after a male customer pulled out a gun and opened fire when told he had to pull up his face mask in a Georgia grocery store on Monday.

Victor Lee Tucker Jr., of Palmetto, Georgia, had got into an argument with staff at the Big Bear grocery store in DeKalb County, on Monday over their store’s mask policy.

The 30-year-old appeared to leave after the argument, but returned moments later, holding a handgun, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Tucker hit the casher, killing her, before he was shot and injured by an off-duty officer, a 30-year veteran of the DeKalb County Police Department, who was working as a security guard.

DeKalb County Sheriff Melody Maddox said Tucker managed to fire back twice, hitting the off-duty cop both times.

  1. Say it ain’t so. A piece of crap out of control, killing a employee that merely was advising policy. Prayers for her and her friends and family. These black undomesticated pieces of feces wonder why police have to use deadly force against them. This one needed a Good Samaritan neck knee his nasty self while crawling out of the store. He was where he should have been, thanks to the off/duty office, on the floor. Note: not all blacks are a bad element, but they can be perceived that way because of their peers acting out often. They must be angry they are Africans and take it out on the community they should rightly be kicked out of.
