The body of a missing man was found inside the leg of a large, decorative dinosaur statue in a suburb of Barcelona, Spain.
The Guardian reports that a father and son noticed something strange inside the papier-mache statue of a stegosaurus Saturday afternoon in the town of Santa Coloma de Gramenet and alerted authorities.
A 39-year-old man who had been reported missing by his family hours earlier was found dead inside the statue. Firefighters were called to the scene to cut open the dinosaur leg and retrieve the man’s body.
“It’s an accidental death; there was no violence,” police said, according to The Guardian.
“This person got inside the statue’s leg and got trapped. It looks as though he was trying to retrieve a mobile phone, which he’d dropped. It looks like he entered the statue head first and couldn’t get out,” authorities said.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Stupid IDIOT!!
“It looks as though he was trying to retrieve a mobile phone, which he’d dropped.”
Can someone please tell me how he just so conveniently dropped his phone inside that dragon statue?
We need more common sense dinosaur control laws!
When his family tells people he was killed by a dinosaur, they will never believe them.
