Former NBA Star Rips Black ‘Woke’ Democrats as the ‘New KKK’

It’s not everyday you hear a black former professional black basketball star rip the Democratic Party, so when one does, it’s noteworthy.

In a video posted on social media, Kwame Brown, the No. 1 overall NBA draft pick in 2001, blasted Democrats in general for continually making claims and promises on which they have never delivered, a pattern which held true during Joe Biden’s campaign.

Brown says he was contacted by Democratic and Biden campaign workers to get him to vote for the candidate, but when he would ask specific questions about what policies Biden planned to pursue as president that would be beneficial to the black community, they could never provide him with specifics.

Rather, those callers, like others before them, offered only vagaries and platitudes — more of the same kind of things he says he’s heard for years.

Brown then took so-called “woke n***as” to task as well, comparing their demand for rigid conformity to Democratic ideology akin to “the KKK.”
