Rt. 90 accident

Serious accident on Rt. 90.  A child was ejected from one of the vehicles into the water.  The child is being flown by Trooper 4 to John Hopkins. No other details available at this time.

Rt. 90 is closed in both directions and is expected to be closed for several hours.

  1. Cautious Driver

I work on Ocean City year round

The majority of Balto-morons, Pennsylvanian, New Yoke, Joisey drive much faster than 65 on all roads, in and out of Ocean City .

By the damage to the front end of that car; pushing the pickup truck onto the rail, its obvious he was flying on Rt 90

Put in speed cameras in the guard rails, and the State would make millions of dollars .

Large proceeds of that camera speed money can go back into Ocean City

    1. Agree on the camera’s. But I don’t believe that’s the way it works with funds from cameras.

    2. This happened on the first bridge. They must have turned off of Coastal Highway and floored it. They are not that far from Coastal Highway. Thank God for the guy that saw the baby go into the water and acted rather than pulling out his phone to record!

  2. Joe, it would be very helpful if you would start posting the time again when the article is written.

  3. I was in the water at 4am doing my morning 5 mile swim. Mostly under water glad I missed this.

  4. This is nothing new, season is here, each year its something what bridge or the rotten route 50 bridge. Adding another bridge (2 lanes both ways) will eliminate head on accidents – but accidents will still take place.

    Prayers for all involved.
