Democrats in the Oregon House passed legislation to raise the state’s concealed carry permit fee from $50 to $100 on Thursday, and to require guns to be stored in locked containers.
As for storage, gun owners are also allowed a second option of storing their firearms in a gun room.
The Corvallis Gazette-Times reports the legislation, Senate Bill 554, also ups the fee for renewing a concealed carry permit, raising renewal price “from $50 to $75.”
The gun control bill passed with Democrat support. No Republican voted for it.
Republicans argued the gun storage requirements will mean people will not have access to their firearms for self-defense.

Don’t register anything, don’t pay any fees, don’t submit to an interrogation by men (with guns, ironically) to get their PERMISSION” for anything, don’t give them your fingerprints, don’t “apply” for any “permit” that only THEY think they have the right to allow.
Keep your guns loaded and within easy reach. Load all of them with armor piercing ammo. Don’t lock a damn thing up (are you stupid??). If your dog starts going wild and you look out your window and see men approaching your house at 3 am (NOT for your birthday party, bet your life) and they are dressed all in black, like some kind of assassins, OPEN FIRE ON THEM.
Just quit living on your knees. And stop believing anyone gets to decide which one of your RIGHTS they will ALLOW you to use.
