A Viewer Writes: 213 LINCOLN AVE. SALISBURY MD –MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS

This violation has gone on for far too long over ten years the property has gotten worse each year.   There exists boats, multiple trucks, cars, trailers, wave runners,  the stuff extends out on Jackson Street and impedes traffic all around.   Nothing has ever been done and it gets worse, have Code & Compliance ever reported this to Tom Stevenson  this is one of the worst blights in an area of the Presidents Neighborhood and there are plenty of violations, is it allowed to continue because of the friendship with our now absent Mayor Jake Day, but long before his so called deployment.  We need new people in charge or a committee to look into the hundreds of violations in this area and yes I do mean hundreds.    Multiple vehicles in front yards of homes, untagged vehicles on city streets abandoned vehicles, waste piled in side yards and back yards, unkept alleys, furniture & household appliances piled on porches and in yards.    Abandoned properties owned by out of state slum landlords, where the city cuts the grass 1 X per year, piles of brick and building materials at those properties last year causing an infestation of rats and copperhead snakes.   TIME FOR ACTION MR STEVENSON, AND ACTING MAYOR !

  1. Agree, agree, agree. This town has gone to hell since we got boi Day as mayor. Neighborhoods are suffering because nothing ever gets done about the derelict tenants who occupy these homes. City of Salisbury are you listening? Take a damn ride down some of these streets and quit focusing on what is not important to any of us. Do your damn job for a change.

  2. I would never live in a city or neighborhood because of people like the one who wrote this. Worry about your property and that is it. You all talk about government control and now you want more of it. If you have not figured out that the Salisbury in general is a crap hole that’s your fault. I would worry about all the crime and drug dealing going on in that area before I worried about what someone has in there yard.

    1. Beat me to it, the Housing and Community development (aka code enforcement) director is Ron Strickler. I understand he got the position because of connections with Andy Kitzrow and not experience or vision. Was a manager at Harbour Freight before…

  3. I agree, salisbury is a sh-t hole, but there is no 213 Lincoln Ave on Real Property Search county tax rolls. Please advise or clarify.

    1. Jake Day is creepy. But I’m glad he’s got peeps like you to defend him. Are you going to contribute to his legal defense in his upcoming trial?
