Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) challenged Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to a debate about the Green New Deal in a series of tweets on Wednesday.
“.@AOC I’d like to challenge you to a debate on the Green New Deal economic policy,” Greene tweeted.
Greene said that with her degree in business administration and experience running a company and Ocasio-Cortez’s degree in economics, a debate “would be informative for the American People.”
Greene said she and Ocasio-Cortez could each pick a moderator.
The debate would be on a major news network negotiated between the two, Greene said.
Ocasio-Cortez has not responded to Greene’s debate request on Twitter.
The Hill has reached out to Ocasio-Cortez’s office for comment.
.@AOC people are excited about our debate about the Green New Deal economic policy!
People are saying they would pay money to see it.
We could debate pay per view style?
And the money raised could be split between us for our choosing of where it goes.
What do you think? https://t.co/cXZWrFwcjI

AOC needs her hat handed to her, then shown the door.
AOC can never back up her ridiculous positions in an coherent manner
This lady would make the cow eyed hoe look more foolish by the minute in a debate. That’s why it will never happen. She is like other leftist nuts. All talk and no informative information. She talks a lot of green but doesn’t want to go toe with this Greene.
Imagine being locked in a room for a week with AOC.
