Baltimore Mayor says more historical City monuments, schools will be reassessed

Less than a day after City crews removed the statue of Captain John O’Donnell from Canton, Mayor Brandon Scott indicates this action is just the beginning.

The Mayor said Tuesday morning he wants to form a commission group to decide how to move the City forward.

He did not give any details on the commission or say what monuments and schools will be under the microscope to be removed or renamed.

“We shouldn’t have statues of slave owners in our City,” said Scott.

You shouldn’t have one of the highest crime rates in America and one of the lowest graduation rates either, but you do! And this is where you focus your attention? Is it any wonder your city is what it is?

  1. “Is it any wonder your city is what it is?”

Nope! It’s a City full of 1.31 gpa under educated people that aren’t able to much more than wash car windows during rush hour.

  2. Is now time to replace those white trash monuments with real Americans like Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, JayZ and Beyoncé, Oprah, and Kunta Kinte.
