Farhan and Tanvir Towhid, who slaughtered family, left behind bizarre suicide note with ‘The Office’ rant

The two Texas brothers accused ofslaughtering four family members before killing themselves said they easily got weapons because gun control is “a joke” — and were sent off the rails partly from watching TV’s “The Office.”

In a rambling 12-page note initially linked to his Instagram page, Farhan Towhid, 19, said that he and his 21-year-old brother, Tanvir Towhid, were united in manic depression and all-day TV watching sessions.

“The first and most important show we watched was ‘The Office’,” Farhan wrote in the note that started, “Hey everyone, I killed myself and my family.”

The Steve Carrell comedy was one of “four very important issues I encountered throughout my life,” Farhan claimed in the online note police confirmed to CBS DFW is linked to the gruesome bloodbath.

He then ranted at length about how the show “should’ve ended when [Carell’s character] Michael left” because ‘eventually it went s–t” — complaining about plot- and character-developments that enraged him.

  1. So, both of them had self-admitted mental issues, but the guns will be blamed and responsible, sane gun owners will suffer as a result.

    Different day, same shot.

    1. They bought illegal guns but they could’ve easily killed them with a knife or hatchet which more people are attacked and killed with

  2. “Their gruesome plot was based on “pure logic,” he insisted.

“I love my family. I genuinely do. And that’s exactly why I decided to kill them,” he wrote.

“If I killed myself, they would be miserable. They would spend the rest of their lives feeling guilt, despair, and a multitude of other adjectives that mean sad.

“Instead of having to deal with the aftermath of my suicide, I could just do them a favor and take them with me. None of us would ever have to feel sad ever again,” he wrote.”

There’s a problem with your theory son. Your “logic” is based in your idea that your sadness outweighs your joy of living. Your logic is based solely on your feelings. You don’t get to decide to end someone’s life. You committed murder.
