Fears grow, following Mosby’s vow to ignore low-level crimes

The violent crime rate may be on the decline in Baltimore, but it seems to be doing little to ease fears among many residents.

On Friday, State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced she will no longer prosecutor low-level offenses like drug possession and prostitution.

Her office stopped prosecuting those crimes when the pandemic swept the city a year ago and Mosby says the city is seeing significant declines in violent crimes.

“It’s not going to deter crime, it’s going to make it go the other way,” said Daryl Buhrman, President of the Retired Police Officer’s Association in Baltimore.

“It’s going to enable people to be free to do other things,” said Buhrman.

On Monday afternoon, Kathleen Morlan was packing a knife for protection.

“I mean, numbers can go down but you still have a lot of people who don’t feel safe in the area,” said Morlan.

  1. You big dummies.

Which one of you brain-dead goofs look at this and say, “yeah, we can fix this”??

It WILL NOT get better. Mosby is just a player in the process of entropy.
    Order breaks down.
    Society keeps degrading.
When these criminals run out of places to destroy and people to rob and kill, what do you think they will do next??
