Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s kids leave handprints in White House garden

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s three children have left their handprints in the White House garden as their grandfather President Trump prepares to leave office in a few weeks.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Ivanka, a senior White House adviser, explained the meaning of the White House Children’s Garden and shared photographs of her children posing in casts of their hands.

“The Children’s Garden was a gift from President and Mrs. Johnson to the White House in 1968. The garden features a goldfish pond, an apple tree, tulips and grape hyacinth,” she wrote.

“Footprints and handprints of Presidents’ children and grandchildren are embedded in the garden’s paved pathway. 10 more bronze pavers were added by @FLOTUS, handprints of each of President Trump’s grandchildren,” she continued.

The caption accompanied a montage of the couple’s children, Arabella, 9, Joseph, 7, and Theodore, 4, setting their hands with the help of their parents.
