They kneel down for the US Anthem out of pure hatred for the country of their birth.
The Detroit Lions traditionally play a game every Thanksgiving Day. This is an American tradition.
This Thanksgiving both quarterbacks for the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans kneeled for the US anthem.
Sorry you got your feelings hurt, snowflake. My husband is a cop and a Marine veteran and he has no problem with kneeling during the Anthem. We kneel to pray, it is a sign of devotion.

@5:30 not really sure the point you’re trying to make. As a disabled USMC veteran I damn sure take offense to someone kneeling during the anthem. I don’t know where your husband was stationed during his supposed time in marine corps but I know for a fact if he heard the anthem or taps being played while on duty and he didn’t come to attention and he tried some bullshit stunt like kneeling he wouldn’t have been in the corps long. He must have been a shit bird marine to accept this nonsense as okay

I am an Army veteran (Vietnam Era), but my dad was a Marine, running up beaches in the South Pacific when he was 17 years old.
I don’t know if your husband was in the UNITED STATES Marines , but I’ll tell you for sure — if he had kneeled when the National Anthem was played, he would have been OUT of the Marines the very next day. AFTER other Marines beat his ass.
On base, at 5pm, the flag was lowered and the Anthem was played. Even if you were driving, you had BETTER pull over at 5pm and stand at attention. Fail to do it? Maybe ONCE. Maybe. Soldiers know what they are there to do and it ain’t got nothing to do with being “oppressed”. Save that crap for the punks, bi**ches, sissies, and cowards.

NFL players aren’t soldiers. They don’t need to stand at attention. Players didn’t even stand on the field for the Anthem until after 9/11 because the NFL wanted to seem patriotic.

Like I said before, the anthem used to be played before the players even took the field. Then after 9/11, they had players on the field for the anthem out of patriotism. Then the Bush Administration met with Roger Goodell and convinced him to keep doing it because they needed propaganda during the Iraq War.
Why is anyone still watching sports at all? I refuse to watch any sport.. And the less you all give the media coverage the better. You cover their antics and give it credence.
