NFL will reward teams for developing minority coaches/GMs

NFL owners have approved a proposal that will reward organizations for developing minority coaches and front-office executives who become head coaches, general managers, or team presidents for other clubs.

Also, the league’s owners unanimously approved a contingency plan to expand the playoff field to 16 teams if meaningful games are canceled due to COVID-19.

The voting was held Tuesday during a virtual meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and league executives.

    1. Because for decades the best candidates weren’t even considered if they were a minority. Doesn’t matter if you aren’t a racist yourself, those racist policies and actions have trickled down the generations and affected people.

  1. It’s 2020; why won’t National Felon’s League wake up and smell the coffee?

What steps have they taken to hire and promote LSMFT persons, anchor babies, Dreamers, and ex-jock felons who’ve been paroled or finished their sentences?

They have the capability to make poor decisions, flaunt wealth and act entitled just like regular NFL hires. Most can already answer the first interview question correctly: “Have you taken a knee during the National Anthem, or otherwise disrespected the flag of the USA in public?”
