Fox News put the United States Postal Service to the test ahead of the 2020 elections.
As part of a special investigation, senior correspondent Eric Shawn, the I-Unit and others sent 500 envelopes from more than 50 locations throughout the country to test how quickly they traveled between addresses, and to a single destination in New York.
A little more than two percent failed to reach their destinations, including nine envelopes that have not been delivered more than a month later.

My husband runs an internet-based business. He recently placed an order that originated in Newark, NJ. The USPS tracking information indicated the package was shipped from Newark to Baltimore, MD. The next stop was Easton, MD (those of us on the Shore know that Easton is our USPS hub). The next information received on the package indicated it was shipped from Easton, MD to Seattle, WA where it has been stationary for the past week. So, no, the USPS is NOT efficient or reliable. There is absolutely no way I would trust my mail-in ballot to the USPS and expect it to arrive intact, on time or at all. Early voting done and nothing could have frightened me away from placing my in-person vote.
